During the holiday season, Filipinos are in full swing getting ready to celebrate the festivities with their loved ones. Of course, the holidays are never complete without food on the table and this is why food bazaars become go-to destinations for Filipinos to discover new and unique culinary creations to bring to the celebrations.

Clara Olé’s Real Meal Express puts the spotlight on home cooks and small businesses, allowing them a platform to showcase their tasty creations to a hungry, curious audience.

Once again, Clara Olé’s Real Meal Express booth was spotted at the Greenfield Weekend Market, featuring two Real Meal Express Partners: Henry of Daddyow! Sisig and Sandwiches, and Randy of Gerfina Food Products.

Henry started Daddyow! Sisig and Sandwiches in 2019 when he and his wife were expecting their first baby. He started selling homemade sisig and sandwiches to his officemates, who started calling him “Daddyow.” He proudly states that when it comes to making his best-selling sandwiches, Clara Olé dips feature as the key ingredient that gives them that “wow” factor, and keeps people coming back for more. “Sobrang blessed at saka thankful ako kasi pati kami, mga RME partners… sobrang daming natutulungan na mga small businesses. So I encourage [other] small businesses to join Clara Olé’s Real Meal Express project!”

Randy turned his passion for spicy condiments into a thriving small business when he launched Gerfina Food Products. “Gumagawa ako ng mga hot sauce, chili garlic, spicy vinegar and our specialty salsas: tomato salsa, mango salsa, and cream cheese.” When asked how he felt about being a Real Meal Express partner, Randy says: “Actually, naging advantage ito sa business namin because we use Clara Olé products like the tomato sauce and cheese. Our flavors improved!” Like Henry, Randy invites other aspiring home cooks out there to become a RME Partner. “Madi-discover din nila yung ikaka-improve ng products nila, and at the same time [find ways to] save [on] production sa kanilang mga produkto.”
