With Real Meal Express, we put the spotlight on small home cooks and entrepreneurs who make their food with two very special ingredients: love and Clara Olé, because they’re #OleYouNeed for making the best dishes ever!
The Clara Olé Real Meal Express booth participates in food markets and showcases small business owners who proudly use Clara Olé to whip up their scrumptious creations and give them exposure to food lovers and culinary explorers alike. Visitors to the booth are invited to taste the Real Meal Express Partners’ creations and can spin the wheel to win exciting prizes, and even win up to 6 months worth of Clara Olé products!Marian-of-Clara-Ole-Real-Meal-Express.jpg1.45 MB At Pasig Bridgetown’s Mercato Centrale, we were joined by our Real Meal Express partners Marian of Sweet Connections and Eugene of Captain’s Cup to showcase their mouth-watering dishes to a wider audience. Marian, a self-taught home cook and baker, is known for her sweet treats such as chocolate-covered cornflakes, truffles, and pastries such as ensaymada, ube cheese buns, and sweet and savory pies. She says, “Nakakatuwa, kasi kine-cater ng Clara Olé yung mga hindi-kilalang food [businesses] like mine, and we were given more exposure… It really helps!”
Eugene-of-Clara-Ole-Captains-Cup-Real-Meal-Express.jpg1.4 MBEugene owns Captain’s Cup, a small coffee shop formerly in Meycauayan, Bulacan. He had to close the physical shop, but this didn’t make him give up hope or stop cooking some of the café’s beloved bestsellers, such as their creamy carbonara. He claims, “[Captain’s Cup] closed recently, but because of Clara Olé and this event, maybe we can start again.” In fact, clients who visited the Real Meal Express booth couldn’t stop raving about how creamy and malinamnam the pasta was!
With Clara Olé’s Real Meal Express bringing attention to smaller home-based food businesses and SMEs, these talented home cooks are given the opportunity to showcase their dishes to a wider audience while featuring the versatility of Clara Olé. From appetizers to dessert, Clara Olé Is #OleYouNeed!
