Clara Ole gives back through its “Maligayang Pasko Bunso” Feeding Program

Nothing brings joy to the heart like the smiles of 64 orphans and youth delighting over ice cream, cotton candy, and nicely wrapped presents underneath a Christmas tree!

Clara Ole launched the first leg of its feeding program for orphanages and hospitals last December 2, Monday, at the Asociacion de Damas Filipinas, a child-caring facility in Paco, Manila. It was a fun-filled afternoon that began with song and dance numbers by the children who welcomed their guests from Clara Ole. There were games like Bring Me” and “Newspaper Dance” where the kids received lots of prizes. Treats abound! Clara Ole provided hefty servings of delicious spaghetti with meat sauce, chicken lollipops and Christmas cupcakes which were a big hit for all the kids and care-givers as well who were there to share the joy of the afternoon. There was an unlimited supply of ice cream and cotton candy in colorful carts, a photo booth where kids had their pictures taken and personalized with their names, and a surprise visit from Santa who gave out loot bags loaded with candies and toys. Another highlight was a captivating 40-minute performance by Dynamic Acrobats that transformed the afternoon into an exciting circus event! Many thanks to Ms. Carina Bellosillo, day care teacher at Asociacion de Damas Filipinas who helped make the event a huge success! Kudos as well to Clara Ole for furthering its advocacy to care for our youth and teach the importance of providing their proper nutritional needs. This is only the beginning as Clara Ole is scheduled to bring the Maligayag Pasko Bunso feeding program to the following:

Dec. 09 Bethlehem House of Bread 4PM
Dec. 10 National Children’s Hospital 2PM
Dec. 19 Christian Light Foundation 2PM

You can help bring cheer to the children, too, by sending your donations to Sysu International, Inc., at 3F 145 Panay Ave, Quezon City, Philippines 1103.

A meaningful Christmas to one and all!
